Mature technology adoption always starts with a business objective. Below are various engagements that can play a pivotal role in helping your organization ensure technology is done right.
Assessment. An analysis of internal capability and then an approach and roadmap describing how to provide the capability and capacity needed to do the work below using internal staff and/or partner resources.
Strategic Planning Framework. Guidance and implementation of a strategic planning framework that yields company and organization mission, vision, values, parameters, strategic objectives, strategies, and action items. Strategy only works if every leader in your organization uses the same language and the same structure to describe it. That same framework needs to be used year-over-year so that it settles into the minds and culture of your organization. This gets that done!
Change Governance Model. A simple but powerful change governance model that balances knowing enough and making a decision that cleanly and clearly directs and prioritizes change aligned with organization needs and strategic plans.
Centralized vs Decentralized Organizational Model. A model for organizational design that determines what efforts should be done centrally (close to organization executive leadership) and what efforts should be done locally (close to the work). This is not a binary, static decision. It's fluid (evaluated periodically) and includes efforts and organizational structure that is centralized, centralized assigned, centralized deployed, decentralized coordinated, and decentralized.
Strategy Hub ©. A Power Application (Teams left-hand rail enabled) designed to hold and present all strategic planning elements of the Strategic Planning Framework so that every employee knows where the organization is headed, how the company or organization plans to get there, and what they can do to contribute.
Project Hub © . A Power Application (Teams left-hand rail enabled) designed to hold and manage all active and past projects, their scope (deliverables), schedule, resources, and status. This system coordinates the use of Microsoft Teams, Planner, and OneNote to facilitate the work of each project.
Core Data Management Manifest. Establish a Core Data Management Manifest using a document for small to mid-size organizations or using a Data Management Hub (see below) for large to extra-large organizations. The core data management manifest documents where core data elements are stored, how they are changed, who can change them, and how they are replicated to dependent systems. This ensures that core data is identical everywhere it is found.
Enterprise Data Estate. Establish an Enterprise Data Estate to house all core data elements for reference and all business-pertinent transactional data (current and historical). This ensures artificial intelligence agents can produce information accurately.
Data Management Hub ©. A Power Application (Teams left-hand rail enabled) designed to hold and present all core data elements, how they are changed, who can change them, and how they are replicated to dependent systems.
Identity Setup and Provisioning. Employee login accounts, and the data used to determine access rules, are automatically created in Microsoft Entra ID. This ensures logging in and gaining access is passwordless, secure, and smooth for all current and former employees.
Structure Teams Implementation. Guidance, structure, and assistance implementing the wise and controlled use of Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration. Teams are automatically created based on who, what, and where a person is in your organization. Channels are created to fit the persistent conversations had within each organization. Users are trained that all internal communications and all file storage is addressed using Teams Channels and Chats. NOTE: the biggest mistake in deploying Teams is to let anyone create a Team. It must be controlled or it becomes a mess.
Teams Phone Implementation. Planning and assistance implementing Microsoft Teams Phone as the corporate voice system for external calling, call queuing, call routing, etc. This includes negotiating and standardizing the headsets and handsets for use in offices and in open workstations.
Teams Rooms Implementation. Planning and assistance in establishing a standardized video conference and in-room presentation approach using Microsoft Teams Rooms - with a defined standard for huddle rooms, conference rooms, and large conference/training rooms. This includes negotiating and standardizing the video conferencing and room audio design and equipment.

Planning and assistance in using Microsoft My Apps, M365 Copilot , and the Teams Left-hand rail for clean, clear access to all Teams apps (3rd party and in-house), all 3rd party web applications, and all curated in-house BI reports and dashboards. These applications are visible only if a user is entitled to see them based on who, what, and where they are (see Identity and Access Management above).

A custom SharePoint Document Library, Power Application (Teams left-hand rail enabled), and related services to enable holding and publishing company and organizationally-created videos used for education, training, and corporate communication. Communications Hub©. A Power Application (Teams Left-hand rail enabled) designed to enable rich, direct Teams Chat and Channel communications sent to individuals based on what (role) or where (organization or location) they reside in the organization. Rich communications may include policy attestation, targeted survey response, and video-enabled training or communications with attestation (they watched the video).
Device Provisioning, Movement, and Retirement Process. Implement a single set of processes for use across the organization to select, present, request, provision, manage, and retire organization-owned devices (computers, laptops, phones).

This includes an approach that helps determine buy vs. build, and when the decision is to buy, how to do a competitive analysis of 3rd party solutions that ensures fit-to-requirements balanced with cost-to-acquire and implement.
Cost Management Framework. Guidance and implementation of a cost management framework that documents, tracks, and presents technology costs (labor and non-labor) relative to business size, organizational structure, and benefit. This grants the organization transparent visibility of all technology costs year-over-year and ensures wise and strategic use of organization funds. It can also be benchmarked to external sources and to organizational revenue to ensure technology costs stay right-sized. This effort can save an organization hundreds of thousands of dollars.
